Privacy Policy

Draft text. This note will be removed once the legal review is complete.
This Privacy Policy explains how the War Stroke mobile game (com.webingyazilim.mobilewarstroke) and the warstroke.net website handle personal data. If this translation differs from the Turkish text, the Turkish text prevails unless the law where you live says otherwise.
In short: War Stroke has no account of its own. Your game progress stays on your device and does not reach us. The game has no ads and no third-party analytics tools. If you use Play Games, the related data is processed by Google.
1. Data controller and contact
War Stroke is developed by Webing Yazılım ve Bilgi İşlem Teknolojileri. For any privacy question or request: support@warstroke.net
2. Data kept on your device
The game stores the following only in the app's storage on your device. It is not sent to us and we cannot access it.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Battle stars, veteran units, achievements, doctrine levels, number of articles read | To keep your campaign progress |
| Daily Challenge score, streak, attempt day and any score not yet sent | To run the Daily Challenge |
| Sound, music, vibration and language preferences | To remember your settings |
| Tutorial and hint status, Skirmish choices | To continue where you left off |
If Android's automatic backup is on for your device, this data may be included in your Google account backup. That backup happens between Google and your device, and we cannot access it.
The game does not ask for access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files. The vibration permission is used only for in-game alerts and can be turned off in the settings.
3. Google Play Games
Play Games is optional; the game can be played without it. In versions of the game that support Play Games, the game connects you automatically if Play Games already knows you. Otherwise the connection starts when you tap on the leaderboard screen. Once connected, the following is processed:
- Your Play Games player ID, display name and avatar
- Your daily score sent to the Daily Challenge leaderboard
- Analytics and diagnostics that Google collects to keep the Play Games software stable
The game shows the day's top 10 scores with players' display names. If your score makes this list, other players can see your display name. A score earned while you are not connected waits on your device to be sent if you connect the same day; when the day changes it is removed without being sent.
Google processes this data as its own controller under the Google Privacy Policy. War Stroke does not store this data on its own server. The game does not ask for your email address.
4. Purchases
The current version of the game has no purchases. When the Full Version is offered, payments will go through Google Play. Your card details do not reach us; Google shares order information with us so we can track the transaction. Google's rules and legal retention duties apply to that data.
5. Technical data
Google Play and Android may collect data about app crashes and performance and report it to us in Play Console. We use it to fix problems in the game.
The game is built with the Unity engine. Unity Analytics, Unity Ads and Unity's cloud crash reporting are turned off. The engine may send technical hardware details, such as device model and operating system, to Unity. See the Unity Privacy Policy for details.
6. The warstroke.net website
The site uses no cookies, trackers, analytics tools or external fonts. No access log of page visits is kept. To deliver pages to you, the server handles your IP address during the connection. System security records may hold an IP address for a short time. The site is hosted on a server in the European Union region.
7. When you write to us
When you email us for support, we use your email address and your message only to answer your request. We keep this correspondence for at most 1 year after the request is closed, or longer if a legal duty requires it.
8. Purposes and legal bases
We handle support requests and requests about your rights on the legal grounds in Article 5 of Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK): forming or performing a contract, meeting legal duties, and legitimate interest. For users in the European Economic Area, the matching bases are GDPR Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f). We do not process data for automated profiling or advertising.
9. Sharing and transfers abroad
We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. The Google Play, Play Games and Unity data flows described above may be processed on those companies' systems outside Türkiye. The warstroke.net site is hosted on a server outside Türkiye. Support correspondence is stored on the systems of the email service we use. We may provide information to authorities when the law requires it.
10. Retention and deletion
Data on your device stays there until you remove the game or clear its app data. You can delete your Play Games data through Google. See Account and Data Deletion for every route.
11. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Since game data is not sent to us, the most important safeguard is protecting your device and Google account. Only authorized people can access support correspondence.
12. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to the address above and we will delete it.
13. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, object, and claim compensation for damage. If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.
Send requests to support@warstroke.net. We handle them free of charge and within 30 days at most. If you are not satisfied, you may apply to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board or the data protection authority where you live. We can act only on data we hold; for data held by Google you need to use Google's tools.
14. Changes
If the game's use of data changes, we will update this page before the change takes effect. If a server feature that stores player data is added, this policy will be renewed first.
